The Battle of 2 Beasts.. #AMDv/sNVIDIA

The Beautiful Beast - R9 295x2

First of all friends I would like to clear that none of the Graphics Cards will currently be personally reviewed by me. I am only researching on the Graphics Cards and then telling my view on the Product.

So, today I would like to introduce to you the AMD's Beast -The R9 295x2.

This beautiful card is the current flagship of AMD and it is meant for 4K Ultra HD Gaming. This card is equipped with 8 GB of Video RAM with a astonishing speed of 11.2 Teraflops. The performance of the card is actually equivalent to that of 2 R9 290x in Crossfire, but the main difference are the ultra low temperatures and sounds. this card is so silent even under the heaviest of load that it is not even audible. And probably the best feature of the card, along with being the fastest card, is the premium water cooler that is provided with every graphics card.

But this card is not all gold. This mammoth of a card requires a Power Supply of atleast 500W (just for the card). Also the card is huge in size and will probably not fit into every Cabinet. Also the card is an expensive affair of $999 (INR 1,26,450). So it is going to be a pretty hefty toy.


But it is upto you to decide that whether it is worth it? (For me, probably not!!)

THE COSTLY COUNTERACT- TITAN-Z

 So, now we will take a look at the NVIDIA's fastest card - THE NVIDIA TITAN - Z.


This card was launched to counteract the AMD R9295x2, but it is still unclear what was NVIDIA thinking when it was deciding the pricing of the Card. The card is a extremely expensive card at $3999. The performance of the card is equivalent to the SLI of 2 NVIDIA gtx Titan, but both of them would cost just $1999!!!

But still the performace of the card is commendable. IT IS THE FASTEST CARD ON THE PLANET!! Maybe not the most economical but still the fastest. Also the card is aimed at 4K Ultra HD Gaming, and is almost wasteful for 1080p Gaming.

Also one very peculiar thing is that it is the first 3-Slot Card. Also this card is very huge in size and would only fit in mid-sized or full-sized towers. The heat generation of the card can also be another problem, but NVIDIA  did  great job at providing an excellent Cooler for the Card.


Now, it is most probably extremely difficult to justify the price for the performance, but still if you want the fastest card of the World, then this is the card for you.
